Dennis ended his career in the Engineering Department of AirAsia Berhad after 7 years to pursue something he is passionate about called ART. He is now a full time photographer and inspiration to the young. Dennis Yap Photography has been established in 1995, he has a long history and experience in photography (17 years). I must confess I went through the same predicament as Dennis growing up. Only a few choose the unconventional route in defining your own dreams and not just go along with a career which is deemed to provide steady income. So, go where your heart is, work hard, only the sky is the limit.
A member of WPPI, he continues to improve his craft through keeping up with the current trend and technology. Wedding photos in the older days were more often than not portraits that show the couple’s face clearly. Dennis is open to unconventional techniques which our parents or grandparents may not fancy. Image of a pair of feet may seem pointless but to the lovers, there may be a tale which brought them together.
He was assigned to be the official wedding photographer who
captured Ishwara and Thanusyia’s wedding reception in the aircraft
30,000ft above sea level, who set a record in the Malaysia Book of
Records.

“So straight away I asked Dennis, and up to this point he been nothing
but great. We been communicating by phone,sms and email if we have any
ideas floating about (since my shoot will be in less than 3 weeks) and
Dennis been very prompt in replying everything. When we talk on the
phone he makes me feel like I am an old friend which is a lot compare
to Adam/Andrew side (but I am reserving my opinion cause my wedding is 3
months more, and nearer the date I am hoping we will have more
communication).”
