In Christianity, marriage is God-ordained. “The Creator made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’(Matthew 19:4,5). Marriage is a covenant, a solemn binding agreement made before God and man. The religious ceremony of the wedding before church and community emphasizes that marriage is more than a legal agreement between two individuals. A happy and complete marriage is realized as both partners make Christ the center of their marriage relationship. The marriage relationship encompasses the deepest unity of man and woman in its social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical expressions. Agape Community Church was founded in 1981 as Agape Gospel Assembly by Pastor Lawrence Koo. With a team of three faithful and bold couples, the church met to worship the Lord in a two-storey house in Taman Tan Chee Hoe, Seremban, NS. They are part of the Assemblies of God Malaysia and are among the Pentecostal churches in the world. They moved into the current building in December 1998.
