Package: from RM888 nett | Capacity: 600 pax | Located opposite the Asia Jaya LRT station, on the top floor (7th floor) of Intan Square, the Imperial Garden Restaurant (Petaling Jaya) which is under Tai Thong Group, is an elegant venue for weddings. Existing/standard decor is beautiful with vintage Oriental theme, beautiful turquoise walls with a lot of detailing and there are no pillars in the hall blocking the view. The restaurant manager, Tommy and team, are professional, attentive staff. The AV system is a tad old. No HDMI (only VGA) if you need to plug in your laptops for projections of videos and photos. Some say it is time to upgrade to a new one.
Serving refined Hong Kong style Chinese cuisine that is perfectly balanced with traditional cooking ways – a testament to their award-winning master chefs’ talents, the restaurant received mostly positive comments on their wedding food, in particular the chef’s special glutinous rice. Its location is outside of KL city with easy traffic and ample parking space. However the carpark is a bit dodgy looking, ramps are quite narrow. BTBs choose this venue due to the reasonable wedding package price, interior, and good food and service.

Jun 2017 Glad that we had our wedding reception here, good food at reasonable price. Most importantly, the person-in-charge that we deal with, Ivy, is always responsive and considerate, everything went smooth and we had a hassle-free wedding. In my personal opinion, the decoration was a good balance between oriental and western design. After dinner, when Ivy and her colleagues came to congratulate us, we wanted to give them angpows to show our appreciation but they refuse to accept, saying that it’s their job. Minus one star because of the physical condition of the building and restaurant, e.g. narrow parking space, yellowish light shed, small stage and average quality projector. https://www.facebook.com/ng.eelaine/activity/10153836203787025
Mar 2016 Great location. Beautiful dining room. Yummy dishes. Helpful manager & crew. I do wish they would upgrade their projectors to be HD though I highly recommend this restaurant to those seeking a smaller cosy venue! ❤️ If you’re planning to have a smaller scale wedding (20 tables or less) this is the place to be. The decors are amazing (beautiful turquoise walls with a lot of detailing) so you wouldn’t need to add much. The food is great as we can expect from Tai Thong Group, the staff was very attentive and the restaurant manager is very accommodating. Overall a good experience. Only issue here is that the AV system is tad old. No HDMI (only VGA) if you need to plug in your laptops for videos.
http://wedinspired.blogspot.com Jun 2013 Imperial Garden Restaurant (Petaling Jaya). This venue is located opposite the Asia Jaya LRT station. Located on the top floor of Intan Square. This restaurant is parked under the Tai Thong Group, thus you can’t really go wrong with a strong name like Tai Thong. We truly liked this venue for the following reasons: Existing/standard decor is beautiful – elegant, vintage Oriental theme, Good reviews on the food they served (yes, even for wedding servings), Non-halal, Location is out of KL city (ample of parking & easy traffic), Charges nett price and cheap Drawbacks: Venue needs to be booked way in advance, A certain number of tables need to be committed (25 tables minimum) Narrow hall & walkway, Their first dish presentation may be a little over the top (for me), Tables may need to split into separate rooms (depending on the total number of tables you require), May have to share walk-in entrance with walk-in customers, unless you booked the entire restaurant.
May 2013 Imperial Garden Restaurant – My Dear Friend’s Wedding. it’s pretty easy to get here as the restaurant is right beside PJ’s Armada Hotel. Ample parking space but the ramps are quite narrow and navigating around the tight bends can be a challenge. The restaurant is on the seventh floor, and decorated in the style and fashion of any typical Tai Thong restaurant. Cosy tables. |
