The restaurant specialises in a wide range of Chinese and Cantonese dishes. The interior of Maple Palace is an uncanny merging of that of typical Chinese restaurants and some Victorian elements- timber panels and faux vines, giving it a more modern edge. With the wedding decoration in place, the banquet hall looks absolutely beautiful. The service is good. Guests are impressed with their delicious food.

Jun 2013 Maple Palace is a refreshing addition to Penang’s Chinese dining scene; it comes off as slightly more upscale and places more emphasis on the presentation of both their dishes and their image. penangfoodlover @ Apr 2012 Few weeks ago, me and my family went for a relative’s wedding dinner. They have it in Maple Palace Restaurant, which I never been there before. But when I reach there, I’m quite surprised with it. The decoration, both inside and outside are very nice. Balloons, ribbons, nice banner writing the wedding host names, lighting, seats, everything is so beautiful. The service is good. When we need to take photos, the waitress are ready to help. Not just simple pouring water or changing plates for you. When the dinner starts, I found that most of the food is very delicious! The mango chicken is very nice too. I like the mango taste fully cooked into the chicken. The abalone served is in big portion and gave me a shock. The dessert is snow fungus with ginko nuts. Although I don’t really like ginko, it taste nice. Someone tell me that their peiking duck is delicious, but so bad that in the wedding dinner we don’t have this dish. I shall go to try out the peiking duck in next time. |
Attended a wedding dinner there. Ample parking, good food, good service. In fact, their table service is better than many expensive restaurants. They change our plates frequently. |
