An older hotel set in beautiful mature gardens with amazing old rain trees. Grassy area right up to the beach. Would love to see the decor modernised slightly.
Attended a friend garden wedding here. Didn’t expect the atmosphere to be so prefect. Lots of green with white sand beach and blue sky. The first look from roadside seem to be old facade..but once inside..is another paradise. Good service and good foods.
To sum it all up, I wouldn’t recommend Rasa Sayang to anyone for a wedding there after my own personal experience there.
I was disappointed with:
1) the person I was dealing with left a week before my wedding. The replacement person didn’t handle the wedding with the utmost care.
2) my guest book was forgotten and they gave me a diary instead.
3) no board to list my guest lists
4) cocktail session, waiters didn’t serve drinks until later on
5) waiter split wine on one of my guest
6) waiters didn’t understand English and didn’t refill the drinks on my guests tables.
