Most of the Chinese songs played in weddings are Mandarin and a fair bit of Cantonese in the Klang Valley. A singer who knows how to express the emotions and meaning in the lyrics can capture the audience’s attention. For Chinese Songs here are some of my recommendations:
- Chris from The Raw Note (Jacky Cheung of Malaysia). His voice is solid, in tune and can emote very well.
- Eswest Music is specialized in traditional Chinese musical instruments.
- Cath from Rhumba Live Band has a very melodious, soothing and romantic voice. Jacky can play many musical instruments that adds more dimension to the song.
- Beat Music Wing’s perfect pitch with a slightly low and unique tone is truly intriguing.
Chris from The Raw Note’s voice is solid, in tune and can emote very well. |
