Below are photos of some local celebrities showcasing Carven Ong wedding dresses. With the right mixture and different details the gowns turn out stunning. However the dresses worn by the Ananthan sisters were rather strange looking, with quite a prominent a big bow and there is not much detailing. It’s not something I would pick. Love the dresses worn by Carla Soong, and Elaine Daly. Simple, elegant and chic.

Carven made good use of his experience in the wedding and fashion industry, started a wedding/ event planning company called Wedding Artist. It collaborates with professional photographers such as Jon Low and Whys Photography (Singaporean PG), experts in styling, cake decoration and floral designing. There is also a school under his wing, Carven Academy of Fashion, which provides fashion designing courses.
Belinda Chee‘s (TV host, actress) wedding dress was made by Carven. She was also invited, together with other gorgeous ladies to feature his evening dresses in the “Jamuan Teh Malaysia” fashion show. I know not all of us have the slimness and height of celebs, with a few strings of thread, some sewing and altering, Carven Ong Couture will make sure the gown fits you perfectly.

She is looking for a bridal gown to be brought over to Barcelona, Spain for her upcoming wedding. There are not many gowns to start with perhaps due to its limited space and mind you, designer’s boutique is usually very classy and they dislike displaying too many dresses or gowns like you shop or in night markets. p/s: They usually go for quality and not quantity. Why do I say so?? The logic behind this is because each gown is uniquely produced by the designer himself and there is no duplication. We term this EXCLUSIVE!!! Price? We shouldn’t even mention this because expect no more than four figures for a wedding gown. Oh come on!! We are talking about custom made by a famous designer! If you are looking for a local designer wear for a wedding gown or evening gowns overall, and if you are willing to spare more money to look fabulous – you should consider dropping by 🙂 |
