When I sighted his admirably elegant J’adore Paris photograph on the cover of “The Hip List Wedding Photographers”, I started going on a quest to trace him. Jon Low has turned his casual hobby into a career when he began shooting wedding
professionally in 2007 and started Ideal Wedding Studios which is now re-branded as
Jon Low Studios.

Picture – genuine with a glimpse of nervousness, shows the true emotions of a bride. Detail and remarkable photography skills got him quite a few accolades and recognitions. He is now a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers Malaysia (WPPM) and
Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).
He was the guest speaker for the Digital Camera, Imaging & Media Show – Malaysia’s Premier Photography Exhibition (DCIM) 2011, together with other speakers; Chai Kok Leong, Iskandar Ibrahim and Edwin Tan.

thought jonlows website shots were really nice. turns out the rest of
teh wedding photos he doesnt put up wasnt as impressive at all. also
when asked for quote, he comes up with random high numbers that dont
correlate with hours spent etc. when asked to justify, he got quite
defensive and arrogant. pity, cos once honesty and ethics is in doubt,
hard to win business”

Unfortunately he was booked already on my wedding day. I was thinking of hiring him as the official photographer for the wedding reception as we cannot afford paying a full day rate. I love his photography style but I must say he excels particularly in pre-wedding shoot. Their intensity and classiness amaze me. To be sure, you can also request for more of his AD coverage samples where people in the photo are not standing still but busily moving around.
