The Subang Parade outlet particularly is famous for wedding banquets. They have the experience and basic amenities in organizing medium sized wedding receptions. This is a good option if you are looking for quality food at an attractive price and good parking access/ availability at the shopping mall. Their staffs are friendly and efficient. However some part-timers have not been trained very well. The design of the banquet hall is of long rectangular shape, the guests at the back may not be able to view what is happening in front at the stage clearly.

To be improved are the equipment such as the projector screens, and time management. Dishes served should be paced out at the right intervals to ensure comfortable dining of the guests.

I had my wedding reception at this restaurant. Everything was smooth and what i really appreciate was that the captain MC and the team were really attentive, helpful and supportive. I was worrying as the comments on this page were not so positive but everything was beyond expectation. Venue looks presentable and the food, according to my guests was nice. Basically, I gave 85/100 for my experience here. To be improved are the equipments such as the projector screens, but this was already known before confirming the place so it’s a matter of choice! This would be a good option if u r looking for quality food at good price, with good parking access!

If you’re looking for good Chinese food in Subang, Overseas Restaurant is a good choice. For those looking to host wedding dinners, they also have some reserved parking lots just outside their restaurant. Food is quite good and service is friendly and efficient. My two recent visits were for a wedding and a birthday celebration last year.

I had my wedding recently and felt disappointed with the service. My guest were all arrived before 8pm but dishes cannot be served earlier. The emcee could not speak at all. On top of that, me and husband were upset when our guests informed that they were chased away nearing the end so that the staff could be back earlier.

Service was extremely poor. They were under staffed and the part timers employed were inexperienced. Had my wedding dinner in january. Was promised that they would change the plates for guest at least 3-4 times during the course of the dinner but my guest told me the plates were not changed at all. Despite that our guest have all arrived before 8pm they were not ready to serve and our guests were left waiting and wondering where is the food. Then towards midway of the dinner they rush the dishes remaining out without waiting for the guest to finish. Very dissapointed!
