Valerie Fan is a Malaysian designer who has ventured into the bridal shop scene. They have the usual package which can include gowns rental for pre-wedding photography as well actual day usage, makeup+hair, photography, shoes, album, men suit, accessories, etc depending on your requirements. Most of their gowns look glamorous and there are very limited dresses with simple design, short train.
The difference is they provide dresses, suit and shoes which are locally
made by their own production line with the materials sourced from
Korea, Japan and Europe. If you feel like a custom made dress tailored
to your specific needs, Valerie is there to help you achieve your goal.
The team – Designer Valerie Fan has been designing for almost a decade, her style is simple laid back elegance. Photographer Daren Chong is quite a reputable photographer with amazing skills. Other photographers: Shi Nong and Nichole Fan.
Besides gowns, Valerie also designs shoes. Higher heels are more elegant but the height of shoes affects the bride’s posture. For her 10cm heels, she will add a front platform to make it more comfortable to wear. Many of her designs feature Swarovski crystals and materials like Duchess satin. Her shoes start from RM259 for off-the-rack designs while custom-made ones are priced from RM359 (2011).

They took the time to understand my requirement of the wedding gown. Loved the changing room – spacious and furnished with cushy carpets. Really liked 2 of the gowns that I tried, but they didn’t screamed “THAT’S THE ONE!!” to my face, so I didn’t make any bookings here. Limited choice of wedding boleros and short tail evening gowns. They do provide custom made services here, but I didn’t inquire about it. Valerie is also a shoe designer, thus you may custom make your shoes here. *photo taking is NOT allowed in bridal shop* |

They have glamorous gowns that i love, which means you can’t find a simple design of gowns in their shop – i hope you’re up for a little dress up . Photos are also in high quality. Service-wise – The best! Overall, i give them 4/5. I love the gowns. |
