Churches (non Catholic) usually conduct the registration of marriage for their members only and there are conditions to follow. So do check with your respective church. As I know Catholic churches are not marriage registrars, hence you are required to have the ROM in an NRD branch’es registrar office, then hold the wedding ceremony in the church.

Currently, there are two assistant marriage registrars, Ye Guiying and Huang Jinbao, who provide marriage registration services for newlyweds every Monday to Saturday.
- Marriage registration is arranged at 9:00 am every Saturday (closed on public holidays)
- All newly registered couples must complete all procedures one month in advance and submit the required documents to the association secretariat.
- The fee for each new team is RM80. After the registration date has been confirmed, the date cannot be changed. If you need to change, you must pay and reschedule.
- Go to Klang Hokkien Association and submit the form signed and stamped by the National Registration Department with 2 copies of the ID cards of both the man and the woman and the two witnesses.
- On the day of registration, applicants and witnesses must be present in person in neat clothes and with ID cards. Applicants can bring hand flowers on the day, Dress up and exchange wedding rings.
