Stayed as family and friends for 3 nights as part of wedding celebrations. Everything was very well planned and organised. Positive feedback and memorable experience by all. We chose the Westin because of the following: i) Beautiful Resort, ii) Attentive Staff, iii) Flexibility in meeting our needs, iv) Great Food, v) cost. WEDDING PACKAGE: We purchased the priciest Wedding Package offered by the Westin which had most of the items we needed. The Beach ceremony, with a backdrop of the Andamen Sea, was beautiful and serene. The Evening Reception took place by the infinity pool, and We hired a third party wedding planner to provide extra venue decor, lights, AV, babysitters and a live band. Our reception was elegant, romantic and a lot of fun. Our guests, mostly seasoned business travelers, were very impressed with the venue choice and overall ambience. PROPERTY: The Westin itself is a beautiful piece of property: I) The interior decor is very tasteful, modern and clean. ii) Hotel is not rundown/aging like other 5* properties we visited. F&B: The Reception Dinner was delicious, high quality and well presented. The Executive Chef and senior executives were knowledgeable, flexible and respectful. We chose a four course western set dinner (quail/ prawn and saffron risotto / basil tomoto soup / beef tenderloin or cajun salmon for entree) and a wedding cake shaped like a ring pillow. Throughout the day, the servers were very attentive. One guest noted “it was the best food she’d ever tasted…” SERVICE: We felt that the level of service from all staff (servers, sommelier, restaurant manager, wedding coordinator, executive chef etc..) was top notch and lived up to the Westin name. All in all, We were very happy with our wedding.
